PORTSMOUTH, OH (WOWK) — A Portsmouth, Ohio male was arrested for the burglary of a residence though the owner was in the hospital, in accordance to a Sunday launch from the Scioto County Sheriff’s Business.
The launch stated that even though the proprietor was in the hospital, a neighbor alerted her to a possible crack in at her dwelling applying pics and video clip Friday night time. A deputy frequented the residence to confirm the theft and found symptoms of pressured entry.
A truck matching the description of the truck believed to be concerned in the theft was then seen driving by the home and was promptly pulled above.

Brayden James Queen, 23, of Portsmouth was in the motor vehicle with another suspect. One of the suspects mentioned that the other man or woman requested a trip to the victim’s residence.
“The suspect, who said that he experienced no awareness of the theft, suggested that the other suspect recommended him that he experienced authorization to be there and that he had authorization to take the products,” the launch mentioned.
The male suspect reportedly helped in the restoration of some of the stolen merchandise. Stolen merchandise had been found in the truck and at a home.
Queen is charged with burglary, tampering with proof, possession of criminals equipment and possession of prescription drugs. He is staying held on a $87,000 bond and will surface in Portsmouth Municipal Court docket on Monday.
