VIDEO: Man arrested for South Charleston bank robbery stole $6,000
KANAWHA COUNTY, WV (WOWK) — A man will spend a minimum of 10 years behind bars for a “planned” bank robbery back in November 2023, according to the Kanawha County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
According to a criminal complaint, Logan Hall, 24, of South Charleston, went to a bank on D Street on Nov. 29, 2023, around 4:53 p.m. and gave the bank teller a note demanding money. The teller gave Hall $6,000, according to bank records.

According to court documents, the Kanawha County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office recommended placing him in the Youthful Offender treatment program. Hall pleaded guilty on March 18, 2024.
The South Charleston Police Department at the time said this was a planned incident specific to that location on D Street.

When he was arrested, Hall confessed that he was the man who robbed the bank, the criminal complaint said.
