This Sunday, April 28th, Richmond Funny Bone is the place to be for an unforgettable evening of comedy while helping out some animals at the same time. Orchestrated by seasoned comedian and comedy teacher Tim Loulies, this all-women comedy night is set to support Ring Dog Rescue and Central Virginia Horse Rescue.
Tim explains the motivation behind the event, “I’ve always felt great being able to use what I love doing to make a difference. Bonnie, Stephanie and I were just discussing our love for animals… and we were like, well, let’s do something for animal rescue.” He added, “The comedy world can be tough for women, and we’re here to show just how hilarious and talented they can be.”
Taking the stage as host for the evening is Bonnie Cardwell, who is no stranger to the spotlight. “I’ve done it before. I love hosting. It’s something about it that makes me feel comfortable,” she says. She’ll be joined by a stellar lineup including Stephanie Moyer, a recent graduate of Tim’s comedy class, who is eager to showcase her new skills. “I’m excited to get to use everything that he taught me,” Moyer states.
The event will feature an array of talented comedians, including Amber Hendrix, Apple Betty Brown, Emilie Erbland, Heather Joyce, Holly Baumfalk, Kim Villamera, Liz Barlow, Nadine Donnachie, Tara Kaur, and Wendy Lee.
Tickets are now available for $15 on the Richmond Funny Bone’s website HERE.
