SRINAGAR: 4 folks, which include a minor, sustained injuries when a leopard attacked in different destinations within South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday evening, officials claimed.
An official reported that four men and women were being attacked by a leopard in Daramdora Keegam and Mazhama areas of Shopian district on Friday evening.
The hurt have been identified as Tariq Ahmad Lone, son of Mohammad Ahsan Lone Saadat Nazir (14), son of Nazir Ahmad Wani, and Nazir Ahmad Wani, people of Daramdora Keegam, and Sahil Hassan Rather, son of Ghulam Hassan Somewhat, a resident of Mazhama.
“The wounded people had been evacuated to DH Pulwama, from where all of them have been referred to SMHS Medical center Srinagar for specialised therapy,” the formal said.
In the meantime, Police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KS)
