CHARELSTON, WV (WOWK) — Various water rescues have been documented by emergency officers in Kanawha County immediately after major rain flooded the streets Thursday.
Kanawha County dispatch documented h2o rescues in Charleston, South Charleston, Cross Lanes, Dunbar, Loudendale, Jefferson, Sissonville, Twister, Tyler Mountain and Alum Creek.

One person was trapped after their vehicle ran as a result of large waters at the John G. Hutchinson Underpass on Virginia Road West in Charleston. Whilst they got to basic safety, their car remained caught.
A different person’s car bought trapped on the intersection of Sugar Creek Travel and Falcon Drive following backing into culvert, according to a firefighter on the scene.
Kanawha County dispatch mentioned there were reviews of folks owning to get on best of their autos or even crack home windows.
Several roads in the region are blocked and folks are requested to prevent travelling for the time getting. A Flash Flood Warning was sent out by the National Climate Support for the place and will keep on being in impact till 11:30 p.m.
